The Morovati Wellness Center is your go to destination with any sports, work, or other injuries you have. We have a supportive health staff and Doctors with over 25 years of experience to help diagnose and treat many different conditions and injuries.

What do I need to bring on my first appointment?

Please bring a valid ID card along with your Insurance card. Also, it is a good idea to bring in any other medical documents if they are relevant to your current injury or condition. 

When should I arrive for my appointment?

Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. There may be some additional paperwork you may have to complete for us to have a full profile to start your treatment. 

Do you take insurance? What does my insurance cover?

Insurance coverage depends on what was purchased by the insurer.  We will be happy to call your insurance to check on your coverage or you may check your insurance company’s website for out of network chiropractic benefits.

How often do i need to come in?

Most conditions are resolved within 1-6 sessions. However, each individual is different; sometimes it may take 2-3 more treatments to resolve a condition. The treatments are accumulative.


Do you have parking?

2 hour street parking is located in front of the building; be sure to curb your wheels so you do not get a parking ticket.

Monday and Wednesday 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Tuesday and Thursday  9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Fridays 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM.

How do I make an appointment? How can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

You can make an appointment online through our appointment system or you can give us a call at (818) 500-8484. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you please call our office as early as possible so we can let our staff know.


On a microscopic level, signals of pain are electric in nature. The Acuscope/Myopulse and Equiscope are designed to bring damaged tissue to homeostasis; it's normal state. So in other words, the machine normalizes electric activity of the cell. Unlike most all other devices out there, it does not stimulate nor heat the area of treatment; instead, via biofeedback from the tissue, the machine can correct the frequency and hence decrease inflammation, and subsequently pain.

No, massage is using mechanical forces to stimulate tissue. The instruments use Biofeedback and microcurrent to normalize tissue.

Ice the area treated the first day after treatment for 20 minutes every 2 hours.

The closer the treatments are together the better, we suggest it daily if possible. Most conditions respond to 3-6 sequential treatments. There are exceptions though; some may take as few as one treatment and some more than 6.

Yes, however, keep it to a light exercise and hydrate well with electrolytes and water.

The Pieziowave produces a higher frequency which is designed to target ligaments and tendons at their attachment points on bone.
